YUFE in Brief

     Yunnan University of Finance and Economics, founded in 1951,is a full-time institution of higher learning. Its mission is to train senior professionals in management and Economics; The University occupies an area of about 68 hectares with a total floor space of 597,078 square meters. YUFE has 10527 and 503 full-time undergraduates and postgraduates respectively. The well-equipped university functions in a uniquely beautiful and pleasant environment.
     YUFE is a multi-level and multi-discipline university. It has 28 undergraduate disciplines. YUFE sees postgraduate education as its leading edge, undergraduate education as its main body, and adult education and vocational education as auxiliary parts.

     YUFE has an excellent teaching force consisting of 817 full-time instructors, including 108 and 298 professors and associate professors respectively. The campus is equipped with LAN, which facilitates teaching, research and administration.

     YUFE has not only established stable relationships with famous universities in the U.S, Japan, Australia, Canada, Thailand, and other countries, but also has set up several Joint-Education Programs with overseas universities. It also offers a pleasant study environment to those overseas students who are interested in Chinese language and Chinese Culture.

     YUFE is located in the city of Kunming, Yunnan province with three campuses. The distance between the main campus and Kunming International Airport is about 20 minutes by Taxi. Kunming is known as the “Eternal Spring City” for its favorable climate. It is also famous for its abundance of scenic sights, such as the Stone Forest, Green Lake, Expo`99 Garden. Kunming is one of the most beautiful and attractive cities in China.
