Short-term Chinese Culture Programs
The CEFS offers cultural trip, field study programs for foreign students all year round.
• Four-month Chinese and Culture Credit Program
Duration: March first--June 30th or August 20th--December 20th.
Contents:
(1) Chinese Class, 240 teaching hours in three consecutive months, 20 teaching hours/week
(2) Lectures
24 lectures in total, two lectures per week. including Chinese Literature, Chinese History, Chinese Politics, Chinese Economy, Chinese Reform and the Opening-up Policy, Chinese Religions, Chinese Minority, Chinese Philosophy, Chinese Traditional Medicine, Chinese Acupuncture, Chinese National Music, Chinese Painting, Chinese Calligraphy, Chinese Martial Arts, Chinese Education, Chinese Cuisine, Chinese Traditional Instrument, Chinese Weiqi, Chinese Chess, Chinese National Dancing, Yunnan Local Economy, Yunnan Tourism Resource.
(3) Field study for ethnic culture
Scenic sites around Kunming:
Stone Forest, Western Hill, Nationality Museum, Yunnan Ethnic Villages, Horticultural EXPO-99 Garden, Dounan Flower Market in Chenggong, Fubao Vacation Village, Kunming Detoxification Center and so on. Besides, a one-month field trip to Dali—Shangri-la---Lijiang---Nujian---Xishuanbanna will also be available.

Time: Around January 1---February 15th or June 30th---August 30th

(1) 40—60 Chinese classs
(2) 8 Lectures related to: Culture of the Bai People, Chinese traditional medicine, Chinese acupuncture, Chinese national music, Chinese painting, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese Martial Arts, Chinese traditional instrument, Chinese Religion
(3) Field study of ethnic culture: Scenic sits around Kunming ----Stone Forest, Western Hill, Nationality Museum, Yunnan Ethnic Villages, Horticultural Garden.
Besides, a visit to “Dali---Lijiang---Xishuanbanna” in nine days is available.
